Two Austin Originals

Criquet was founded in Austin in 2010 by two lifelong friends who, by their own admission, had no idea what they were doing. They just knew they wanted to be anything but bored, so they set out to make the perfect shirt and build a brand around all things anti-ordinary.

That story sounds familiar. We started Zilker Belts the same way, two people who cared more about craftsmanship and doing things our own way than following a playbook. Criquet calls Austin home, and so do we. It's the kind of city that makes "comfortably off-course" feel less like a tagline and more like a way of life.
